Azerbaijani cyclist succeeds in France

Azerbaijan's female cyclist Elena Pavlukhina has had a successful performance in the Chrono des Nations one-day race in France.
Elena gained her 30 points by finishing the distance in 0:29:31, finishing 5th in the race among 35 athletes. The riders competed for individual time trial on the 21km course on October 18.
Russian cyclist Tatyana Antoshina became the first reaching in 0:28:44, followed by Ukrainian Anna Solovey, who finished line16 seconds later. Belgian Anne-Sophie Dyck took the third place.
The race has been open for points to Rio2016. The main target of Elena like her other competitors has been to acquire the licence for next year's Summer Olympic Games in Brazil.
At the moment Elena is having 53 UCI points.
