Azerbaijan Cycling Federation announces track champions

The track sprint race, organized by the Azerbaijan Cycling Federation was held at the Republic Velodrome in Baku on October 3. Around 80 cyclists from the country's clubs and schools participated in the one-day race.
The winners of the first sprint race became the representative of the Locomotive club.
The quartet of Elite team members Mahammad Alakbarov, Karim Shiraliyev, Jamshid Gasimov and Musa Mikayilzade took the victory in the 4 km team sprint.
In the 3 km team sprint the 17-year old Bakir Dadashov, Ivan Orlov, Samir Shikhalizade and Rovshan Ismayilov from the Specialized Youth School became winners.
In the points race member of the Locomotive club Karim Shiraliyev took the first place among the elite group showing splendid performance. Bakir Dadashov under 17 became leader outscoring all of his rivals.
The Locomotive's elite rider Mahammad Alakbarov took first in the track time trial race as well as David Proherkus from the School N8 became leader among the group of under 15 year old.
The winners were awarded with medals, prizes and diplomas.
