Azerbaijan`s triple jumper crowned Summer Universiade champion
Azerbaijan`s athlete Nazim Babayev has taken a gold medal at the 29th Summer Universiade in Taipei City.
He sealed the medal in the men's triple jump with an effort of 17.01m, Azertac reported.
Taipei welcomed more than 7,600 athletes from 131 nations competing in 275 events.
The Azerbaijani sportsmen competed in 4 different sports, including athletics, judo, taekwondo and weightlifting.
