Khamenei: Settling economic issues - Iran’s main priority
Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei says that economic issue is the country's main priority.
Khamenei made the remarks at a meeting with speaker and members of Iran's 10th parliament in Tehran June 5, the supreme leader's official website reported.
The visit took place based on a tradition upon which lawmakers of each new term of the Iranian parliament meet the leader after the inauguration of the parliament.
"Economy is the country's main issue and we must solve it," Khamenei said, adding domestic production is a remedy for recession and unemployment.
