Kazakh airline to perform Astana-Tbilisi flights

Kazakh Air Astana aircraft will make a new Astana-Tbilisi regular flight from 2015, the Tourism Department of the Kazakh Investment and Development Ministry reported.

Moreover, there is a great demand for Almaty-Tbilisi flights in Kazakhstan, thus Air Astana airline decided to replace its Embraer 190 aircraft with a new Airbus.

Currently, the Almaty-Tbilisi flights are performed five times a week. Direct flights from Aktau to Tbilisi are made three times a week.

The Georgian embassy in Astana reported that the citizens of those countries with which Georgia established a visa-free regime (EU countries, NATO and CIS member-states) may stay in this country without a visa for 90 days out of 180 days in connection with the amendments to the Georgian law "On the Legal Status of Foreigners and Stateless Persons ", which entered into force on September 1, 2014,". This corresponds to international practice. If a Kazakh citizen wishes to stay in Georgia for more than 90 days, it is necessary to get emigration visas.
