Georgian premier to visit Israel next week
Georgian Prime Minister Bidzina Ivanishvili will pay a two-day official visit to Israel June 24-25. It will be Ivanishvili's first visit to Israel as prime minister.
The Georgian government delegation will include Minister of Foreign Affairs of Georgia, Minister of Defense and other government officials.
According to Israeli media, the cooperation between Israel and Georgia on the issue of arms sales is resuming after a five year hiatus. In particular, Georgia is interested in purchasing Israeli drones, as well as anti-tank missiles.
