Rohani’s statements consonant with Russian view of Iranian nuclear problem - ministry
Statements of the new president of Iran Hassan Rohani are in line with Russia's vision of resolving the Iranian nuclear issue, and Russia expects their implementation, Russian Foreign Ministry said in its commentary, RIA Novosti reported.
"We would like to point out that the statements of Rohani are consonant with the well-known Russian vision of the settlement of the problem: the final decision can and should be the unconditional recognition of Iran's right to develop civilian nuclear programme, including the right to enrich uranium, after the clarification of all outstanding issues with putting the entire nuclear activity of Iran under a reliable and comprehensive IAEA control, followed by the removal of all sanctions, both unilateral and those imposed through the UN Security Council," the statement says.
