Georgian FM to meet UN chief

Georgian Foreign Minister Maia Panjikidze is on a visit to the U.S.
Georgian Foreign Ministry told Trend news agency that Panjikidze will meet with UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon, Assistant Secretary General for Political Affairs and High Commissioner for Human Rights in New York on June 5.
The future prospects of the relations between Georgia and the United Nations and the organization's role in the conflict settlement between Georgia and Russia will be the main topic of the meeting.
Panjikidze will discuss the situation around the occupied territories, including the process of installing a wire fence along the separatist regions with UN High Representatives.
