Iran wants to expand relations with African states
Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi underlined Iran's willingness
to expand ties with the African states, specially with friendly and
brother countries like Guinea-Bissau, IRNA news agency
reported.
Salehi made the remarks in a meeting with the Guinea-Bissau's
Foreign Minister Faustino Fudut Imbali in Tehran on Sunday.
'From the point of view of Islamic Republic of Iran relations with African states is special and ties with friendly and brotherly countries like Guinea-Bissau are more specific,' he added.
The foreign minister of Guinea-Bissau, for his part, called for benefiting from Iran's experiences, and said Guinea-Bissau deems as important mutual cooperation with Iran in mining, health, pharmaceuticals, agriculture and energy.
