Iran plans to up oil and gas production
TEHRAN – Iran is planning to produce 2,500 million barrels of oil and 630 billion cubic meters gas over the five year period, FARS news agency reported quoting National Iranian Oil Company official.
"Iran is keen on developing of all its oil fields, but special preference would be given to the development of joint deposits", said Manager on oil pools development of the National Iranian Oil Company, Mr. Seyed Mahmoud Muhaddis.
He said the company has already prepared the program for energy development over the next 20 years.
