Uzbekistan to provide data on deposits of solid minerals

Data on 29 fields and 111 perspective areas of solid minerals in Uzbekistan will be presented at the UZGEOINVEST-2017 forum.
The jubilee 10th international conference the "Investment Potential of Hard Minerals of Uzbekistan UZGEOINVEST-2017" will be held in Tashkent on Dec.6. The conference is traditionally organized by the State Committee of the Republic of Uzbekistan for Geology and Mineral Resources.
This year, UZGEOINVEST-2017 will present information about 29 deposits and 111 promising areas of solid minerals. These include: precious metals - 12 deposits and 31 promising areas; non-ferrous metals - 18 areas; rare metals and rare earth elements - 11 deposits and 51 areas; ferrous metals - 3 deposits and 11 areas; radioactive - 3 deposits.
During the UZGEOINVEST-2017 conference, the State Committee offers to conclude memorandums and protocols of intentions on geological study of prospective areas and development of deposits.
Also, it is possible to organize site survey of the subsoil block for familiarization with the mining and geological conditions of the areas and infrastructure facilities.
