Shell, Total among key companies to give presentations Oil & Gas Week in Baku

Azerbaijan’s capital Baku will host the 2nd Azerbaijan & Caspian Sea Oil & Gas Week on November 19-21.
The event will take place at the luxurious Four Seasons Hotel and will feature many of the key companies working in and around the Caspian region, Oliver Kinross reported.
A number of companies such as Petronas and India's state gas utility, Gail India Ltd, have recently made moves into Azerbaijan's thriving oil and gas sector, widely considered a central hub for oil and gas exploration and production, and a major player in the on-going energy security dialogue taking place throughout Europe.
Delegates attending the 2nd Annual Azerbaijan & Caspian Sea Oil & Gas Summit 2014 will hear from the likes of Tenap, STAR Refineri A.S., Georgian Oil and Gas Corporation (GOGC) and OGPC SOCAR.
Total will deliver a presentation discussing the projections and outlook until 2020 of the Absheron Condensate Gas Field project whilst Shell will discuss the role gas will play in meeting the global energy demand.
The event will also feature a comprehensive panel discussion focusing on the implementation of the Southern Gas Corridor.
