Turkey slightly increases oil imports

Oil imports to Turkey in October rose by one per cent compared to the previous month, reaching 1.76 million tons, the Turkish Energy Market Regulatory Authority's report said on Monday, Trend news agency reported.

Oil imports in January-October rose by 5 per cent compared to the same period in 2011, amounting to 16.2 million tons.

Petrol exports from Turkey in October rose by 12.8 per cent to 271,000 tons. Aviation fuel export fell by 1.8 per cent to 284,600 tons, and the ship's fuel supply increased by 33.4 per cent to 123,400 tons.

Petrol exports increased by 4.6 per cent reaching 2.19 million tons from January to October compared to the same period of 2011, aviation fuel - by 19.7 per cent - to 2.16 million tons, the ship's fuel - by 43.4 per cent - to 1.7 million tons.
