The price for Brent crude oil has exceeded $55 per barrel, according to the trading data.
The price of February futures for Brent crude oil increased by 1.07 percent and stood at $55.04 per barrel as of 05:13 EST Dec.5. This is while the price of January futures for West Texas Intermediate (WTI) oil rose by 0.91 percent and reached $52.15 per barrel.
