President Aliyev receives Kyrgyz delegation
Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev received a Kyrgyz delegation led by the First Deputy Prime Minister, chair of the Azerbaijan-Kyrgyzstan intergovernmental economic-humanitarian commission, Tayirbek Sarpashev, on September 10, AzerTag state news agency reported.
Sarpashev conveyed greetings on behalf of Kyrgyz President Almazbek Atambayev to the head of state.
The sides hailed the political relations between the two countries and stressed the importance of the development of cooperation in the economic, trade, humanitarian and other fields.
They also voiced their confidence that Sarpashev's visit to Azerbaijan would contribute to the expansion of cooperation on this front.
President I Aliyev thanked for the greetings of President Atambayev and asked Sarpashev to communicate his greetings to the Kyrgyz president.
