Azerbaijan's northern city of Shaki will host the first motofestival in the Caucasus on August 29-30.

Caucasus Moto Fest, organized by the Chingiz Mustafayev Foundation and executive powers of Shaki, will involve bikers from Europe and the U.S.

The grand opening of the festival will take place on August 29, the birthday of Azerbaijan's National Hero Chingiz Mustafayev at Ashagi Karvansaray complex that dates back to the 19th century.

The two-day event will include motoparade, exhibition, fair, and test drives and moto competitions.

The guests of the festival will also enjoy a concert program with the participation of popular singers and other cultural events, to get acquainted with Azerbaijani culture.

The special guests of the event are tribute bands Rolling Stone from UK and Bon Jovi, Michael Jackson, and AC/DC from the U.S.

The festival will be attended by bikers from the U.S., UK, Turkey, Russia, Georgia, Croatia, and Iran. At the motoparade, about 200 bikers will drive through the streets of Sheki.

All motorcyclists of the country have a chance to participate in the event, which is free of charge. To take part in the festival, motofans just need to drive on their motorcycles to Sheki.

Participants of the festival will have a possibility to camp in the special tent city, however, seats are limited, so be quick or take your own tent.

TV reporter Chingiz Mustafayev was born in Shaki. He filmed and documented scenes of atrocity of Armenian armed forces during the Nagorno-Karabakh war, and fell on duty during the battles in 1992.
