Azerbaijan's army has held military exercises using anti-tank guided missile systems.

The anti-tank brigade personnel are intensively trained mainly in the training centers in accordance with the combat training plan, the Azerbaijani Defense Ministry said on August 23.

The tactical training for combat firing from available anti-tank guided missile systems was held.

The efforts of Azerbaijani Defense Minister, Colonel-General Zakir Hasanov are mainly focused on combat training, the interaction of anti-tank brigade personnel and the fight against armored vehicles.

The theoretical, practical and psychological training of the personnel involved in the exercises, the weak points of the enemy's armored vehicles, prompt and efficient execution of orders and the level of performance of tasks were the main points of the exercises.

Earlier, Azerbaijani army's air defense forces held military drills.

The Azerbaijani army frequently holds military exercises to enhance its combat capabilities.
