"Mirvari" three-storey cruiser at Baku's National Seaside Park will be equipped with Wi-Fi access points, the Office of the Park said.

The project is now at the development and evaluation stages, the Office said, adding that it includes installation of access points with gain antenna with working radius of 40-50 kilometers. This will allow using wireless internet access in the water area.

Baku's Seaside Park has purchased the cruiser, which has been manufactured in Turkey, to amuse Baku citizens and tourists. "Mirvari" is the third and the largest cruiser in the park. This ship can carry 650 people.

Earlier, the park announced, that all its territory will be covered with Wi-Fi to allow users to get free access to some online resources, including social networks and the websites of several government agencies.

However, the project was not successful. Seaside Park said, "The test results were not as successful as expected. Unfavorable weather conditions and high humidity in the territory of the boulevard was a main cause to dismantle previously installed equipment."

Nevertheless, the Park's management intends to purchase new equipment, which scheduled to be installed by March.

The seaside park, the favorite place of many Baku residents and visitors, is currently under reconstruction and renovation. It was expanded two-fold and is still getting larger and more attractive with a new exterior.
