PACE co-rapporteurs  visit Nakhchivan

The co-rapporteurs of the Monitoring Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), Pedro Agramunt de Mora and Joseph Debono Grech, who are on visit to Azerbaijan, met Head of the Supreme Majlis of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic Vasif Talibov.

At the meeting, Talibov said Azerbaijan has built close cooperation with the organization in the last 10 years, AzerTag state news agency reported.

Talibov hailed relations between the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, which is an integral part of Azerbaijan, and the Council of Europe, saying that Nakhchivan's delegation was represented at the Congress of Local and Regional Authorities of Europe.

He further said that the Autonomous Republic has fulfilled all commitments to the Council of Europe, and stressed the importance of reciprocal visits.

Pedro Agramunt and Joseph Debono Grech said there was wide potential for expanding cooperation between the organization and the Autonomous Republic.
