CIS youth to meet in Baku
An International Ecological Youth Forum of the CIS member states will be held in Baku, at the Absheron Marriott Hotel on December 17.
The Culture and Tourism Ministry reported that the forum will be held under the Draft plan of priority actions in the field of humanitarian cooperation of the CIS member states in 2013-2014.
The event will bring together about 50 young ecologists from around the world. The event will see presentations of the ecological projects implemented in Azerbaijan. The key events of the forum will be plenary sessions on various topics.
The forum is expected to adopt a resolution on ending "The Year of Ecological Culture and Environmental Protection in the CIS", declared for 2013 by the decision of the CIS Executive Committee on 5 December 2012 in Ashgabat.
