Azerbaijan, Afghanistan appraise bilateral ties
Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met Afghan counterpart Zalmai Rassoul on the sidelines of the 68th Regular Session of the UN General Assembly (UNGA 68) in New York, the U.S.
The Afghan FM hailed development of cooperation between the two countries.
Rassoul noted that he met with members of the Afghan delegation who visited Azerbaijan and thanked for support provided by the Azerbaijani Government.
During the meeting, they agreed to sign bilateral documents between the two countries in a variety of fields.
