Azerbaijani embassy to UAE hosts event on national leader Heydar Aliyev`s anniversary
The Azerbaijani embassy to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) has organized a event dedicated to national leader Heydar Aliyev`s 90th anniversary.
According to the embassy, the event has brought together Azerbaijani Deputy Minister of Culture and Tourism Nazim Samadov, UAE Assistant Undersecretary for Federal National Council Affairs Saeed Mohammed Al Shamsi, ambassadors accredited to the country, Azerbaijani General Counsel and representatives of the consulate, chair of the Atlantis Holiday Group tourism company Rashid al Nuri and employers of Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) and Azerbaijani state oil company SOCAR`s office in Dubai.
Opening the event Azerbaijani ambassador Elkhan Gahramanov spoke about the national leader`s life and political activity, as well as his salvation mission.
In his speech Turkish ambassador to the UAE Vural Altay stressed Azerbaijani leader`s role in development of the Turkey-Azerbaijan relations.
Kazakh ambassador Askar Musinov, UAE Assistant Undersecretary for Federal National Council Affairs Saeed Mohammed Al Shamsi, Ukrainian ambassador Yuriy Polurez, and chair of the Atlantis Holiday Group tourism company Rashid al Nuri highlighted the place of Heydar Aliyev in world politics.
The event featured demonstration of a documentary on national leader`s life and career.
