Azeri, Turkish and US ties to be in spotlight
A conference on relations between Azerbaijan, Turkey and United
States will be held in Baku on September 17-18, Chairman of the
Azerbaijan Turkey Businessmen Association Board Ahmet Erentok
said.
He told reporters on Friday that unlike the previous year, representatives of Kazakhstan and Georgia would also attend the conference entitled "Azerbaijan-Turkey-US relations: Georgia in Caucasus, Kazakhstan in Central Asia".
Officials, lawmakers, NGO representatives of the mentioned countries as well as representatives of the American Jewish Community will participate in the event.
Key geopolitical issues, opportunities for multisided cooperation, ways of strengthening cooperation within energy projects as well as issues on the development of transport corridors in the region will be discussed.
The first conference of this kind was held in Washington in December 2007.
