Date of EU foreign policy chief’s Baku visit set
EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Catherine Ashton will visit Azerbaijan on Nov.15-16, European Union Ambassador to Azerbaijan Roland Kobia told journalists in Baku.
She will visit Azerbaijan as a part of her regional tour to the South Caucasus.
"Ashton is in charge of foreign policy and security, so she will discuss all these matters. She will be able to discuss all the issues that are of mutual interests of Azerbaijan and the EU. She will also discuss the issues of visa facilitation," Kobia said.
Kobia added that Ashton will bring a lot of good news, but he did not elaborate.
