Azeri president meets Nobel laureate Zewail
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on Tuesday met Director of Physical Biology Center of the California Institute of Technology, Nobel Laureate in chemistry Ahmed Zewail.
The professor underlined the importance of the Baku International Humanitarian Forum. Zewail praised a speech of Azerbaijan`s president in the Forum, in particular Aliyev`s ideas on science and education.
President Aliyev thanked Zewail for attending the forum. He stressed the importance of such events in terms of international cooperation and mutual understanding.
The president underscored it is possible to achieve the goal of developing Azerbaijan as a modern country due to the progress in science and education.
