Norway’s Crown Prince welcomes cooperation with Azerbaijan
BAKU – Crown Prince Haakon Magnus of Norway appreciated the cooperation with Azerbaijan in all fields.
"We appreciate the relations with Azerbaijan, as evidenced by long-term activities of the Norwegian Statoil company in Azerbaijan," Magnus said at a press conference in Baku on Tuesday.
The Prince paid a visit to Azerbaijan to attend the 18th International Caspian Oil and Gas, Refining & Petrochemicals Exhibition and Conference.
Azerbaijan's oil industry has passed a long way of development, and the Norwegian side was impressed by the results of this development, said Prince Haakon, mentioning Azerbaijan's rational use of oil resources.
"I also want to emphasize the development of the entire population of the republic that can be seen in reducing poverty in the country."
He also emphasized the development of science and the country's achievements in the field of human rights.
