Azerbaijan’s weaponry output tripled this year: minister
BAKU – Azerbaijan’s production of weaponry and ammunition more than tripled in January-September 2010 in comparison with the same period of last year, Defense Industry Minister Yaver Jamalov has said.
Also, civil defense goods worth 19.3 million manats (over $24.1 million) were produced, Jamalov told a meeting devoted to nine-month results on Monday.
He added that agreements worth 82m manats ($102.5m) were signed with the country’s power-wielding agencies.
