Turkish PM’s envoy to visit Azerbaijan
Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s special envoy,
Firudin Sinirlioglu, will visit Baku Friday, Anadolu agency
reported.
"Tomorrow, our advisor will visit Azerbaijan to deliver a letter and a private message from Prime-Minister," Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said at a joint news briefing with Greek counterpart Dimitris Droutsas on Thursday.
Sinirlyoglu will visit Baku after Yerevan, where he arrived on Wednesday.
Erdogan, who is visiting Paris, has told reporters that Sinirlioglu will discuss in Yerevan both organizing his meeting with the Armenian leader and the future of the two reconciliation protocols signed in Zurich in October 2009. Erdogan added that whether or not the meeting will take place on the sidelines of a summit on nuclear security due in Washington April 12-13 depends on Sarkisian’s reply to the letter.*
