Israel minister details Azerbaijan visa rules proposal
Israel and Azerbaijan are currently discussing cancellation of
diplomatic and service visas, Israeli Foreign Minister Avigdor
Lieberman told reporters in Baku on Thursday.
"Everything should flow naturally. Slowing the process down or artificially turning attention to it is unnecessary. At this point, discussions dwell upon cancelling the visa regime for persons holding diplomatic and service passports. We will see what happens next."
Lifting visa regulations between Israel and Azerbaijan was proposed by Tel-Aviv.
Earlier, the Iranian government unilaterally cancelled the visa regime with neighboring Azerbaijan.*
