A public award - "The Golden Order of Academician Rafiga Aliyeva" in honor of the 86th anniversary of the prominent scientist has been established at the meeting of the editorial board of the international magazine "My Azerbaijan".

Honorary members of the editorial board of the international magazine "My Azerbaijan" - founder and editor-in-chief Emil Nasirli, the head of the official representation of the Baku International Center for Multiculturalism in Moldova, Ukraine, Romania, Hungary and Bulgaria, honorary chairman of the editorial council Aurelia Grigoriou, honored art worker of Azerbaijan, associate professor of the Applied Art and Design Department of the Azerbaijan State University of Culture and Arts, chairman of the editorial board of the journal Fakhriya Khalafova, the head of the department of ecological chemistry at the Baku State University, professor Sevinj Hajiyeva, the head of the Caucasus History Department of the Baku State University, doctor of historical sciences, professor, the honored teacher of Azerbaijan Irada Huseynova, the first deputy editor Fikret Nagiyev and others attended the meeting, Trend Life reported.

Addressing the event, Fakhriya Khalafova spoke about the fruitful scientific activity of the famous scientist Academician Rafiga Aliyeva, her contribution to the development of chemical science in the republic.

"The first and only female academic in the field of analytical chemistry in Azerbaijan Rafiga Aliyeva achieved great scientific achievements, one of the unforgettable personalities who created the unity of science and education," said Khalafova.

She stressed that the initiative to establish a prize named after Rafiga Aliyeva is a natural phenomenon, since her personality deserves unlimited respect. The memory of her will be immortalized, her name is inscribed in gold letters in the history of science, education, and enlightenment.

"The Golden Order of Academician Rafiga Aliyeva" has been established to reward citizens for outstanding achievements in scientific research, contribute to the development of culture and art, sport achievements, strengthen peace, friendship and cooperation among nations as well as significant discoveries that contribute to scientific and technological progress , achievements in the field of education, education, social and social activities.

Aurelia Grigori noted that not only citizens of Azerbaijan, but also other countries can be awarded with the order. The golden order is awarded to the candidature in accordance with the decision of the expert editorial board of the international magazine "My Azerbaijan".

Speaking on behalf of the family of academician Rafiga Alieva, her daughter Sevinj Hajiyeva expressed gratitude to the participants of the event and spoke about the scientific activity of the prominent scientist.

"Rafiga khanum is one of those whose lives continue after its termination. She played an important role in the social and social life of the country, the development of science and education," said Hajiyeva.

It was stressed that people who have made a valuable contribution to world science, dedicated their lives to their people, are never forgotten, the memory of them lives forever. One of them is the self-sacrificing scientist and the great teacher Rafiga Aliyev.

"We are sure that for any contemporary figure it will be a great honor to be awarded such a high award with the name of Academician Rafiga Aliyeva," they said.
