Artists show skills outdoor

The “Under the open sky-9” plein air took place in Baku’s Art Villa gallery on September 13.
Entitled “Sports and art,” the event was held in very warm and friendly atmosphere, with fragrant tea and kebabs. The exhibition attracted many lovers of art.
Bringing together both young and experienced artists, the outdoor painting exhibit was held in support of young people and intellectuals.
Vugar Ali, Eldar Babazada, Aisha Maharramova, Ragim Hashimov, Parvana Ahmadova, Imran Mehtiyev, as well as sculptors Teymur Garibov, Azad Aslanov, Leila Nasibova, Elnur Hasanov, and Konul Huseynzada showed their skills at the open-air exhibit.
The event was organized by the Azerbaijan Arts Council with support from the Youth Fund under the President of Azerbaijan, Culture and Tourism Ministry and the “Youth Network.”
Periodically, the Art Villa gallery organizes plein airs in various themes. The last exhibition was dedicated to pomegranates, which are considered a symbol of Azerbaijan.
