Another chamber music evening has been held as part of the 5th Gabala International Music Festival organized by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation, AzerTag state news agency reported.

The concert featured performance of works by Azerbaijani and European composers by French pianist John Bernard Pommier and his wife Olga Martynova.

Well-known Russian cellist Dmitry Yablonsky also performed at the concert.

Meanwhile, British conductor Jan Lothem Konig, who is participating in the 5th Gabala International Music Festival, highly appraised the event.

"I think if it continues to develop in this way with high quality music performances and very good marketing I think it could become an important fixture on the world festivals," he said. 'I had some idea it`s going to be such a beautiful festival because I have many friends from Azerbaijan in London. But I was not expecting such huge mountains, forests in this region. I did know about your food. I knew that Azerbaijan is very famous with its cuisine. Azerbaijani people have very traditional music. I think you have such unique music. I have to say your people are very natural.

The grandiose and traditional music festival, which brings together the world's famous musicians and music lovers from around the country, will run until August 5.
