Korean and Azerbaijani musicians to perform at Baku concert
By Nigar Orujova
Korean and Azerbaijani musicians specializing in Western classical and traditional music will present their skills at the International Mugham Center in Baku on June 24.
The concert, which begins at 7 p.m., is presented by Beautiful Mind Charity and hosted by the South Korea Embassy in Azerbaijan and the SEBA (Seoul-Baku) Azerbaijan-Korean Cultural Exchange Association. It serves as an inspiration to challenge our perception of human possibilities.
The concert features mutual performance by Beautiful Mind Charity and Azerbaijani musicians -- from a mix of Korean folk songs and traditional Azerbaijani instruments to the compositions of Brahms, the stirring tango rhythms of Piazzolla and the operatic arias of Rossini.
Both countries' musicians, with and without disabilities, will deliver a message of hope and challenges through their musical collaboration.
The concert, which cordially invites everyone, will be a unique opportunity to enjoy the musical worlds of Eastern cultures.
Beautiful Mind Charity is a philanthropic music group from Korea, which is devoted to sharing through music the spirit of giving and harmony all around the world, regardless of physical condition, race or nationality.
