Turkish fashion designer refutes media reports
Famous Turkish fashion designer Barbaros Sansal has denied the information disseminated by the Azerbaijani media.
"I did not say during the show that Foreign Minister presented me the watch," Sansal told Trend news agency. "I did not say any names."
The designer also added that he was not acquainted with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov.
"When one of the participants saw my watch costing 150-200 lira, she asked about it and I joked that one Azerbaijani minister presented it," Shansal said.
The Turkish fashion designer also expressed regret that some Azerbaijani news websites, distorting his words, spread sensational news.
"I am surprised that the Azerbaijani media spread the stupid news," he said. "I want to reiterate that this is not so."
