Concert on maestro Niyazi's 100th anniversary held in Turkey
TURKSOY has organized a concert dedicated to the 100th anniversary of great Azerbaijani composer and conductor Niyazi Tagizade at the Ankara Opera House.
The event brought together Azerbaijani Ambassador to Turkey Faig
Bagirov, embassy staff, Turkish Deputy Culture and Tourism Minister
Kemal Fahir Genc, TURKSOY Secretary General Dusen Kaseinov, MPs,
cultural and art figures, as well as media and pubic
representatives, according to the embassy.
The Turkish deputy minister and TURKSOY secretary general spoke
about the deep essence of creativity of Niyazi.
Addressing the event, Ambassador Bagirov spoke in detail about the
life and creativity of Niyazi, Azerbaijan's cultural and art
potential.
Then the concert led by the art director and chief conductor of the
Azerbaijani State Symphonic Orchestra, Professor Rauf Abdullayev
started.
Works of maestro Niyazi and world famous composers were performed
at the concert.
