First Eurovision winner to arrive in Baku
The winner of the first Eurovision Song Contest Lys Assia is coming to Azerbaijan to participate in the Baku show.
According to eurovision.az, originally from Switzerland, the first winner of the world-famous song contest will arrive in Baku on May 24. Previously, Assia, 86, was also a guest of Eurovision shows in Oslo and Dusseldorf.
Assia was the winner of the Eurovision Song Contest in 1956. It is worth noting that she also participated in the national selection to represent her country in Eurovision Song Contest 2012.
