Head of Egyptian library visits Ganja
BAKU – Head of Egypt’s Isgandariyya library Ismayil Siracaddin has visited Ganja, Azerbaijan’s second largest city, according to Azerbaijan’s state news agency AzerTAj.
Siracaddin laid flowers to the monument of eminent Azerbaijani poet Nizami Ganjavi. He also visited the grave of national hero Javad Khan, Shah Abbas mosque and museum, which was once the headquarters of the Azerbaijan Democratic Republic (ADR), the first-ever democratic republic in the Orient.
