Kapaz Dance Cup 2019 was held at Ganja State Philharmonic Hall on January 26-27.

The dance competition was co-organized by the Azerbaijan Youth Union (AYU) and the Dance Association (ADA) with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Jam Group.

In his speech, ADA President, Deputy Chairman of the Youth Union Aziz Azizov stressed that competition aims at promotion of talented young people, Trend Life reported.

"Today it is very important to educate young people, teach them to show their talent and help them find their place in life. I endlessly thank you for the help and support provided to us by the organizers, artistic leaders who bring up young talents, and jury members," he added.

The competition was attended by teams from Ganja, Sheki, Goygol, Tovuz, Mingachevir, Agjabedi, Barda and Baku.

The competition was held by age categories: kids (up to 6 years), children (up to 10 years), juniors (up to 16 years), adults (16 and up).

The winners include dance teams "Gəncə Qönşələri" (leader Halig Aliyev), "Ayan" (Sonahanum Ismayilova), "Buta" (Zaur Gasimov), "Smiles" (Irada Valiyeva), "The Legend" (Egor Anisimov),"Tumurcuk"(Valida Shukurova), "Sabina" and "Günəş" (Sabina Hasanova), "Bahar" (Farmayil Pashayev), "Tovuz" (Arif Mamedov), " Sənan" (Syanan Javadov), "Alov" (Emil Panakhov)," Qarabağ Qızları" (Sevinj Davudova), "Ruslan" (Ismayil Mammadov).
