The composition "Aslan Shah and Ibrahim" has been performed at the International Mugham Center as part of "Evenings of Dastan".
The project is organized jointly by the National Institute of Folklore and the International Mugham Center.
The family dastan "Aslan Shah and Ibrahim" was performed by the master of ashug art, Ashraf Gariboglu - the last student of the legendary ashug Kyamandar.
Dastan is one of the oldest and largest examples of the artistic thinking of the Azerbaijani people. Dastan, being mainly the result of ashug-ozan creativity, is a manifestation of epic thinking.

Notably, many dastans including "Aşıq Alının Türkiyə səfəri" (October 31), "Məhəmmd - Səlbi xanım" (November 27), "Əmrah - Səlbi" (December 25) will be also presented as part of the project.
