Azerbaijan to be represented at Int'l Congress of Turkish Culture

An Azerbaijani delegation will participate in the 9th International Congress of Turkish Peoples` Culture to be held in Ankara, Turkey.
The congress will bring together delegates from 14 countries, Azertac reported.
The event is organized under the initiative of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of Turkey.
The main purpose of the conference is to draw the attention of scholars in the humanities to the issues in the development of language, folklore, ethnography, ethnical music, literature, history, as well as socio-cultural and socio-political fields of Turkic people.
The congress is organized every four years by the Ataturk Culture Center.
The 8th International Congress on Turkish Culture was held in Eskisehir with the focus of "Cultural Heritage."
