Protection of state structures’ information resources enhanced
The Computer Emergency Response Team of Azerbaijan’s Special State Protection Service has taken measures to protect and ensure the uninterrupted operation of the state structures’ information resources, CERT told Trend on February 22.
As a result of the routine maintenance carried out by the CERT, the websites of Azerbaijan’s state structures with gov.az domain were temporarily inaccessible on February 22.
The routine maintenance carried out by the CERT was aimed at enhancing the security of the websites of state structures. Currently, these websites operate in a normal mode. The technical work also included installing additional uninterruptible power systems in the data processing center of the CERT.
CERT was established in March 2013 to protect users from online threats, malware cyber-attacks and other adversities.
