State committees create boards of appeals
A board of appeals was established at the Azerbaijani State Customs Committee, the Committee reported on February 8.
The board, consisting of seven people, is headed by Rza Hasanaliyev, chairman of the Committee.
Moreover, a board of appeals was established at the Azerbaijani State Committee on Property Issues, the Committee reported.
The board, consisting of six people, is headed by Rustam Shahbazov, deputy chairman of the Committee.
The new structures were established to ensure transparency and impartiality during consideration of complaints from entrepreneurs and protecting their rights and interests.
The boards of appeals were set up to execute Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev’s decree “On Establishment of Boards of Appeals in Central and Local Executive Bodies in Azerbaijan”, dated Feb. 3, 2016.
