Civil aviation reps to attend Paris events
A delegation headed by the Director of the
Azerbaijan State Civil Aviation Administration, Arif Mammadov, will
attend the events due in Paris December 3-5. Maharram Safarli, the
spokesman for Azerbaijan`s state airline AZAL, told AssA-Irada that
the functions, which will be organized by the European Civil
Aviation Conference (ECAC), will bring together representatives of
the world`s influential organizations operating in the field.
The first forum of ECAC will take place on Thursday. On the following day, the 131st meeting of Directors General of Civil Aviation of the ECAC member states will be held in the French capital.
The closed session of the last event is to be addressed by the candidate for the post of International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) secretary general. Participants will also hear a report on the work of the ICAO president, as well as progress in investigating accidents that have occurred. The organization`s program for 2010-2012 will be discussed as well.
