Azercell Telekom, the leading company of country’s telecommunications market, continues to support projects aimed at the development of the youth and education programs.

The company now brought another joy to students of the regional universities of Azerbaijan by launching its Student Bursary Program. Azercell Telekom offers an opportunity to the students of Nakhchivan State University, Lankeran State University and the Mingachevir Polytechnic Institute to participate in the Regional Student Program. Along with the monthly stipend till the graduation students also get a unique opportunity to increase their knowledge in the field of telecommunications, get involved in Azercell's corporate and social events, join range of training courses and undergo an internship in the company.

Regional Student program is aimed at supporting and providing special care to the university students with outstanding academic records and help those with strong potential to shape-up as professionals in their fields of study as well as stimulate their contribution to corporate social responsible projects in the communities. The deadline for applications is November 25, 2014.

Few days ago the company representatives travelled to Mingachevir Polytechnic Institute to meet with the 200 students of Energetics and Mechanics, as well as Economy and Management Departments. Azercell representatives briefed students on Regional Student Program, “Telebe Birliyi” tariff launched for students and newly presented “Genc Ol” program. The Company also presented gifts to the students.

The program held annually since 2008, is under a strong interest and attention by Azerbaijani students. Along with the stipend, beneficiaries also gained a remarkable experience for own career with the help of the Company's specialists. Since the day of its inception Azercell Telecom has implemented number of successful projects for development of educational and scientific opportunities for youth. 3G and 4G laboratories in the country’s leading universities, numerous progressive projects by Barama Innovation Center, different student-oriented programs are clear proofs of company’s considerable initiatives in this field.
