Azerbaijan ups tariffs on passenger transportations
The cargo transportation tariffs in Azerbaijan's transport sector remained unchanged in December 2013 compared to the figures for November 2013, the State Statistics Committee of Azerbaijan.
The passenger tariffs in December rose by 1.4 percent, the committee said.
Tariffs on passenger rail transportation to the countries of Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) increased by 16.9 percent. Passenger air transportation to the CIS countries increased 3.5 percent, or by 8.9 percent compared to transportations to other international destinations.
Tariffs on passenger water transportation in December rose by 2.3 percent. Last month, the tariffs for transportation of oil and gas pipelines remained unchanged.
