Baku to host Azerbaijani-Austrian business forum

An Azerbaijani-Austrian Business Forum will be held in Baku Business Center on December 5, Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Foundation (AZPROMO) reported.
The event, organized by AZPROMO with the support of Azerbaijan's Economy and Industry Ministry, will be held as part of the Austrian delegation's visit to Azerbaijan. Vice President of the Austrian Federal Economic Chamber Richard Schenz will lead the delegation.
"Some 20 Austrian companies operating in oil, gas, food, chemical and light industries, as well as in the fields of ICT, construction and engineering are expected to participate at the forum. Azerbaijani entrepreneurs are invited to participate in the event", AZPROMO reported.
Azerbaijan's State Customs Committee reported the trade turnover between Azerbaijan and Austria was about$333.46 million in January-October 2013, Azerbaijan imports from Austria amounted $79.58 million, while exports to Austria amounted to $253.88 million during this period.
Earlier, Baku Business Center hosted Azerbaijani-Dutch and Azerbaijani-Italian business forums.
