Azerbaijan's trade exceeds $8.5 bln in Q1
Azerbaijan carried out foreign trade operations with 124 countries in January-March.
According to the State Statistics Committee, in the reporting period the foreign trade of Azerbaijan made up almost $8.557 billion. Export made up over $6.345 bln and import - $2.211 bln. Thus, surplus made up $4.134 bln.
Some 81.5% of the trade operations were carried out with Italy, Russia, Thailand, Indonesia, Germany, Turkey, Taiwan (province of China), Israel, the US, Indonesia, France, India, China, Portugal, the UK, France, Georgia, Greece, the Czech Republic, and Japan.
