Azerbaijan allots extra funds for irrigation and water supply
Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev has signed an order on additional measures to improve the provision of cultivated land with irrigation and drinking water supply for the population.
It is noted that for the improvement of the provision of cultivated land with irrigation and drinking water supply for the population in 104 settlements of 29 districts, population of which exceeds 310,000, 6 million manats are allocated for the Melioration and Water Economy OJSC from the 2013 state budget presidential reserve fund for the engineering and drilling of artesian wells.
The Ministry of Finance will undertake the provision of the funds; the Cabinet of Ministers will solve the issues arising out of this order.
