Average wage of hired workers in Azerbaijan rises almost 15%
Average monthly wage of the hired workers in Azerbaijan increased 14.9% to reach 599.1 manats in January.
The number of hired workers increased 4.8 % and hit 173.300 in 2012.
According to the State Statistical Committee, some 36.500 of hired workers are employed in the mining sector, 83.600 in processing, 29.600 in production of electrical energy, gas and steam, 23.600 in the field of water supply, waste recycling and refining.
The salary of the hired workers in private sector increased 11.8 % to reach 692.7 manats.
