Azerbaijani insurance firm AtaSıgorta changes leadership
The new chairman of the board of the Azerbaijani Insurance Company AtaSıgorta has been appointed, the company told Trend news agency.
In accordance with the decision of the Board of Directors, Museib Aliyev succeeding Tamerlan Hajiyev is appointed the Chairman of the Board. Aliyev has previously served as the deputy chairman of the board of AtaBank.
AtaBank and AtaSıgorta belong to the group of companies AtaHolding.
"Changes in the management of the company are associated with the beginning of a new stage in its development and are executed by the will of the shareholders. Regardless the short time period of the new leadership [from November 2012], its work has already provided some positive results," the company reported.
AtaSigorta OJSC has been operating at insurance market since
2004.
AtaSigorta provides 26 classes of insurance, 22 of which are
voluntary and 4 are compulsory. The Company is a founder and member
of the Compulsory Insurers Bureau. The paid-up share capital of
AtaSigorta is 5.6 million manats.
The company has four branches and four representative offices.
